Shaheed Bhagat Singh College was founded as a coeducational college in 1967 as a constituent college of University of Delhi, bearing the name of the great son of India, Shaheed-e-Azam, Sardar Bhagat Singh. SBSC has received an "A" rating from NAAC. It provides a range of classes including Commerce, Mathematics, English, and other subjects.The college has distinguished itself over a 50-year span in a variety of academic and professional sectors by offering a dynamic and intellectually challenging academic culture.The college is proud of its well known alumni who have contributed meaningfully in diverse fields of business, culture and society at large. To name a few are Mr. Deepak Kapoor (Chairman, PwC India), Siddharth Malhotra (Bollywood actor), Shoojit Sircar (Movie Director).
